FAQ

Do you require a retainer

Yes, half of the session fee is due at the time of booking and is refundable so long as the session is canceled 72 hours before the scheduled session.

If you decide to reschedule your session and cancel that session you will not receive a refund of the retainer.

I understand things happen. If something comes up after the 72 hour cancelation deadline your retainer can be used towards another session date within the same calendar year.

Will you take individual photos during group sessions

Yes. This is when you and your friends and your families are together. Take ALL the photos. Get the sister, brothers, the sisters and the brothers. All the kids, the kids and the grands. We will have a discussion prior to your session and based on the number of people and what your needs are we may need to adjust the price. The prices listed are base prices and are subject to change based on a clients needs.

How many pictures will we receive?

Each session comes with a full online gallery unless a specific number of images are listed with the package.

How are photos shared?

Photos are shared via a private password protected album on my website. The album will stay password protected for 2 weeks to allow you to download all of your photos. After that I will remove the password and add some photos to my public portfolio.

How long will it take to get my photos back

Times can vary based on the time of year and amount of photos you are expecting to get back, I do ask that you allow at least 2 weeks for your private album to be posted. Please do not expect sneak peeks during this time.

Do you print my pictures

I can. You can. I have a number of printers that I work with and numerous mediums that I can suggest your photos be printed on. You can also print your items directly from my site.
I always suggest serious consideration where you are printing from. Your sessions are an investment. Your photos should be printed as an investment as well. Photo paper matters and you do not want those photos to yellow after 6 months.

How should we dress for our family session?

I want you to be comfortable. I suggest not dressing as if it is a special occasion, especially if you are bringing children. This tends to make the session stressful and awkward. You want to look nice but still be comfortable. You can always consult with me and show me ahead of time your ideas. Pinterest is also great source when it comes to getting ideas!

Will you travel?

In short, yes! I am always up for an adventure so lets talk about where you want to go and how we can make it work for both of us!

When do sessions take place

Time will depend on location. If you are wanting a beach session I recommend a session that starts at least 2 hours before sunset.
